Happy Wednesday everyone, and as Cameo down at Rees Elementary would say, "Happy Friday Eve EVE"!
It's been about a week since I have posted anything on the blog. Sorry. Life is so busy! We recently moved which took up a ton of my time and between unpacking, editing, and juggling my little love... Lemontine blogging was put on the back burner.
I've been trying to think about what I want to share with you today and I decided on something springy and warm because frankly, I am freezing! I swear that fall chilliness waltzed right in yesterday morning and decided it's hear to stay.
These spring pictures were taken mid-morning near Springville, UT in Hobble Creek Canyon. I love to shoot at this specific location in the morning because of the fabulous tree you see. This tree is one of my favorites. It arches perfectly and offers a green and yellow speckled background with lots of open shade for mid-morning sessions. There are also lots of other spots nearby that offer variety. There is an old white barn, mountain views, a river, and luscious pathways of overgrown vegetation.
Let me tell you a little bit about each of the couples that you see at this location. The first couple is Caitlyn and Drew. They are adorable. They have Idaho roots... which I love. (Yay for BYU-I!) These two knew each other long before they really thought anything special of each other. They both served missions and it was after their missions that the sparks flew. At their reception that had this sweet video that showed them each telling their love story, but without knowing what the other one was saying. It was so cute. I always get emotional at weddings and this was one of those moments for me. Listening to them talk about how they fell in love... and who really made the move for their first kiss... so sweet. I am ALWAYS reminded of my own wedding and how incredibly happy I felt on that day when I watch other people on their own wedding days.
The second couple that you see are Sierra and Scotty. They are clearly perfect. Sierra was literally in beauty pageants. Model. So when we went out to take their engagements we were all shocked because I took them to this little clearing where I wanted to shoot and it was RIGHT WHERE he took her on their first date!!! NOT EVEN PLANNED. I was so excited. It was so cute to watch them interact with one another.
So now you have seen it. A beautiful, local location, and two gorgeous couples. Hope you love them.
PS. I have been working like crazy on building my Pinterest up.. you should run over there and check it out!!
Cheers,
Becky
